When is the best time to order Christmas greens?

Orders can be placed as soon as youknow whatyou want to use at your wedding / event - we take orders starting JULY 10,  for the 2007 season
All orders need to be reserved in writing to hold your date
You can change the date of delivery– but we cannot guarantee  products if you have not reserved the date and  specific items with us.
Only exception to the rule is... Nature does not guarantee to come through with specific product on schedule, so substitutions may apply the week of your event - it rarely happens - but Nature does rule!

How can I keep my Fresh Evergreens from drying out and what is the best spray to preserve them?

It is best to use an antitranspirant to dip or spray your greens when they first arrive - our favorite is

My Holly always dries out too fast - what can I do?

Holly is very prone to drying out and is also extremely sensitive to ethylene ( gases from fruits   and veggies)
It is important to dip or spray the Holly with an antitranspirant - keep it as moist and cool as possible
Do not store with fruits and veggies

Why does my Holly turn black sometimes?

Holly may turn black due to a disease called phytophthora ilicis which starts out as small black lesions on the leaves and then spreads
This disease is much worse during wet years than in dry growing years
Holly also can turn black when frozen while in transport

Why do berries sometimes turn black on some of the greens?

They may turn black for several reasons - such as storing them at improper temperatures - old age -
treating them with an oil-based preservative - exposure to ethylene gases - freezing

Wreath measurements are confusing - Do they measure the inside diameter or ouside dimensions?
